Welcome to the CAYAC website

CAYAC is an acronym for 'Community Assistance of Youths, Adults and Children'

We are a registered charity and have been operating on the Sunshine Coast since 2018 as a community group helping destitute people. ​​

We have opened our first op shop and care centre at Shop 2, 92 Aerodrome Rd, Maroochydore. The op shop profit goes towards food and vouchers for the many homeless and displaced persons, domestic violence victims and generally anyone suffering hunger.

We are currently saving for a small commercial kitchen to be installed at the property so that we can provide daily lunches to the homeless and disadvantaged. We are unable to provide this worthwhile service until we meet local counsel requirements.

  1. We are also aiming to provide school lunches for local families who fall short financially. We currently offer food parcels and food vouchers to people who are struggling financially.
  2. We provide sleeping bags, coats/warm clothing, and toiletries to those in need. We provide furniture, linen, household goods, school supplies, clothing and food to people and families displaced through domestic violence and other trauma.
  3. We also have our care centre, where we offer a free counselling service by accredited professionals.
